Mike Minogue Wins Republican Nomination for Massachusetts Governor
Former Abiomed CEO Mike Minogue has won the Republican nomination for governor in Massachusetts, advancing from the state primary election to the general election ballot.
Minogue will face incumbent Democratic Governor Maura Healey in the November general election.
GOP Primary Victory
The primary result secures Minogue’s position as the Republican nominee following his support from state party leadership earlier in the year. Minogue previously secured the endorsement of the Massachusetts Republican Party during its state convention in April 2026.
Minogue, who served as chief executive officer of medical technology company Abiomed, built his candidacy around his executive background in business.
General Election Matchup
With the primary outcome established, Massachusetts voters will choose between Minogue and Governor Healey in the upcoming November general election for the commonwealth’s executive office.
